Quriirin technology was used to send more than 200 million SMS messages during 2021, despite the interest rate. The company has grown by a staggering 350 % since 2017, and its operating margin reached over 29 % last year.
The economic figures for 2021 show continued growth for Quriiri. Compared to the previous year, the company's turnover increased by 28 % to EUR 1.8 million. This growth shows that SMS is still playing a strong role in business communications.
”In today's communication and information overload, it is increasingly important for more and more companies to get the right message across at the right time and in the right channel. Text messages are still read quickly, with a high probability of being read, and very actively responded to. The versatility of SMS in business communication is increasing and new uses are being found for it.”, says Quriiri's Business Director and co-founder Lasse Lohikoski.
More than 200 million SMS messages were sent through Quriiri last year, most of them related to customer and utility communications and authentication. Lasse believes that SMS will continue to be a secure and effective communication channel and that Quriirin is a viable alternative for corporate communication.

Today, Quriiri is mainly active in the Finnish market, but in the future, growth is likely to come from abroad. “Our service has an established customer base in Finland and the reliability of the technology at very high message volumes has been proven in the domestic market. We are actively monitoring the situation abroad and internationalisation is a very big opportunity for us in the future.”, says Lohikoski.
