Two-way communication
Two-way messaging requires a number for receiving replies. This can be a long code or a short code.

Receiving numbers
Long code number
A virtual mobile number that looks like a standard mobile number. It allows you to receive messages from any mobile subscription, regardless of country.
Short code
A short code is registered in the company’s name and issued by Traficom. Using a short code increases the company’s credibility and trustworthiness.

Long code number is a reception number that looks like a normal GSM number. The cost of replying to the consumer is the price of a normal SMS.
Short code is the number registered for your company at Traficom. Sending a message to the short number is free of charge for the consumer.
