The Quriiri team has been strengthened with a new talent, as Ville Kaikkonen started work Senior Software Engineer. His tasks will focus in particular on the development of the back-end functions of Quriiri - the core functions that will form the basis of a scalable communications solution.
We asked Ville about his first impressions of his new job and a few other things.
A relaxed atmosphere and learning new things attracted Quriiri
Ville was particularly interested in the relaxed and close-knit team at Quriiri and the right mix of familiar things and learning something new.
”I have been given real jobs from the start and it has been good to get to know a new product. There's a lot to learn, but that's part of the fun.” Ville says.
First impressions of both the product and the team have been very positive.
”Quriiri has been a very pleasant place to work. Everyone is approachable and the technology is interesting.”
The will to develop also carries over to leisure time
Ville is originally from Kainuu and currently lives in Kuopio. He has previously worked in medical software development at Bittium and as a software consultant at Netum.
In his free time, Ville likes to spend most of his time at home. Almost all of his hobbies are things he can do in the warmth of his own home.
”My biggest interest is self-development. It can be related to work or something else, like a hobby.”
