Thomas Wahlberg has joined NextUp Oy as Chief Technology Officer. Through his expertise and role, NextUp will focus more strongly on the growth and development of its flagship product Quriiri.
The Quriiri text messaging service allows you to reach your customer quickly and reliably. Traditional SMS is playing an increasingly important role in companies' communication with their customers and stakeholders, with more than 250 million SMS messages sent annually via Quriiri.
Thomas has a broad experience in web technologies:
“I started my career in 3D graphics by making 3D models and graphics. In 2007 we started a games company and released our own game for Playstation 3. Since then I moved on to work on web technologies, with a focus on user interfaces and real-time visualisation. I have worked as a user interface architect, team leader and scrum master on various projects”, says Thomas.
Having started in early August, Thomas is looking forward to working in a top team with the right creativity, attitude and skills. According to Thomas, the company's main product, Quriiri, has gained a strong foothold in the communications market and there is still plenty of potential for growth.
“The Quriiri is ideal for any service where a reliable messaging service is required, e.g. two-factor authentication or bulletins for a large group. Quality and good cooperation with customers are key and Quriiri has a proven track record in this area.”, Thomas says.
