The Baltic Sea is in a bad way, as can be seen in the blue-green algae blooms in the inner and outer archipelagos every year. However, the situation is not hopeless and as a company we want to play our part in helping to protect the Baltic Sea. That is why we have donated this summer's customer gift funds to the John Nurminen Foundation for the protection of the Baltic Sea.
”I have been a member for yearsI have been very impressed by the work of the John Nurminen Foundation and am convinced of the tangible results they have achieved in protecting the Baltic Sea. This donation supports our company's values and is a concrete demonstration of how we are implementing our corporate responsibility approach.”, says Lasse Lohikoski, co-founder and business director of NextUp Oy.
