A new feature of Quriiri is the management of SMS sender information. You can now see in one place:
1. SMS Sender IDs registered with Traficom
The sender is the same name or number registered with Traficom. No one other than the company that registered it will be able to send SMS messages under this code. Read more
2. Longcode and short numbers
If you want a reply feature for your SMS message, the sender must be a longcode or shortcode. A longcode number looks like a standard mobile phone number, while a shortcode is a 5 or 6 digit number. The short code is registered in the name of the company and issued by traficom. Read more
3. My saved names and numbers
Your own stored sender names (not registered). Quriiri's stored name or number will be displayed to the recipient as the sender.
The change affecting day-to-day use is that the sender information can no longer be specified when creating an application event or routing, but the sender must be selected from the pre-saved senders. Longcode and shortcode numbers can now also be conveniently assigned their own description, which makes it easier to manage when several numbers are used for different purposes. The management of sender data can be found in the left navigation under Governance > Sender information.
